Il Canada ha imposto nuove sanzioni a più di 100 individui russi e 15 imprese in risposta all’incidente dello Stretto di Kerch e alla riunificazione della Crimea con la Russia. Lo ha detto il Ministero degli Affari Esteri canadese in un comunicato stampa.

“In coordinamento con l’Unione Europea e gli Stati Uniti, il Canada annuncia oggi nuove sanzioni in risposta alle azioni aggressive della Russia nel Mar Nero e nello Stretto di Kerch e all’annessione illegale della Crimea”, ha detto il comunicato. “L’onorevole Chrystia Freeland, Ministro degli Affari Esteri, annuncia queste sanzioni su 114 persone e 15 entità, ai sensi della legge sulle misure economiche speciali”.

Canada has imposed new sanctions on more than 100 Russian individuals and 15 entities in response to the Kerch Strait incident and Crimea’s reunification with Russia, the Canadian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a press release on Friday.

”In coordination with the European Union and the United States, Canada is today announcing new sanctions in response to Russia’s aggressive actions in the Black Sea and Kerch Strait and Russia’s illegal annexation of Crimea,” the release said. “The Honourable Chrystia Freeland, Minister of Foreign Affairs, is announcing these sanctions on 114 individuals and 15 entities, under the Special Economic Measures Act.”
