I legislatori britannici hanno respinto l’emendamento che chiedeva un secondo referendum sulla Brexit con 85 voti favorevoli e 334 contrari. L’emendamento presentato dalla legislatrice Sarah Wollaston avrebbe incaricato il primo ministro britannico di chiedere un’estensione dell’articolo 50 e di condurre un voto pubblico sulla permanenza nell’Ue.

UK lawmakers have rejected the amendment calling for a second Brexit referendum by 85 votes to 334.

The amendment tabled by lawmaker Sarah Wollaston would have instructed the UK prime minister to seek an extension to the Article 50 and conduct a public vote on remaining in the EU or leaving on “terms determined by Parliament.”
