Quasi 800 rifugiati siriani sono tornati nel loro paese d’origine dalla Giordania e dal Libano nelle ultime 24 ore. Lo mha detto lunedì il Centro per la riconciliazione del ministero della difesa russo. “Nelle ultime 24 ore, un totale di 767 rifugiati sono tornati nella Repubblica araba siriana da stati stranieri: 93 persone (tra cui 28 donne e 48 bambini) hanno lasciato il Libano per la Siria attraverso i checkpoint Jaydet-Yabus e Talkalakh, mentre 674 persone (tra cui 202 donne e 344 bambini) sono ritornate dalla Giordania attraverso il checkpoint di Nassib”, ha detto il centro nel suo bollettino quotidiano.

Inoltre, 92 siriani sfollati interni sono tornati ai loro luoghi di residenza nella repubblica araba nel periodo in questione. Nelle ultime 24 ore, le unità di ingegneria siriane hanno ripulito 2,4 ettari (5,9 acri) di terra dalle mine nelle province di Quneitra e Damasco e distrutto 23 ordigni esplosivi, ha osservato il centro.

Poiché il governo siriano ha riacquistato il controllo sulla maggior parte dei territori del paese che sono stati sequestrati dai terroristi, ora si concentra sulla creazione di condizioni favorevoli per il rimpatrio dei rifugiati. Mosca sta assistendo Damasco in questo processo, oltre a fornire aiuti umanitari ai civili e ad essere garante del cessate il fuoco.

Almost 800 Syrian refugees have returned to their home country from Jordan and Lebanon over the past 24 hours, the Russian Defense Ministry’s Center for the Reconciliation of Opposing Sides and Refugee Migration Monitoring said on Monday.

“Over the past 24 hours, a total of 767 refugees have returned to the Syrian Arab Republic from foreign states: 93 people (including 28 women and 48 children) left Lebanon [for Syria] via the Jaydet-Yabus and Talkalakh checkpoints, while 674 people (including 202 women and 344 children) returned from Jordan via the Nassib checkpoint,” the center said in its daily bulletin.

In addition, 92 internally displaced Syrians have returned to their places of residence in the Arab republic over the given period.

In the past 24 hours, Syrian engineering units have cleared 2.4 hectares (5.9 acres) of land from mines in the provinces of Quneitra and Damascus and destroyed 23 explosive devices, the center noted.

As the Syrian government has regained control over most of the country’s territories that were seized by terrorists, it is now focused on creating favorable conditions for repatriating refugees. Moscow is assisting Damascus in this process, along with providing humanitarian aid to civilians and being a guarantor of the ceasefire.
