Summit of the five states bordering the Caspian Sea is expected take place in Kazakhstan in August, participants are determined to sign a convention on the status of the Caspian Sea, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Grigory Karasin said on Wednesday. “The Caspian Five summit is scheduled to take place in August – most likely, in Kazakhstan. We together with our partners are taking steps to ensure that this convention [on the Caspian Sea status] is signed at the summit slated for August,” Karasin told the Russian lower house.
