Il 17 maggio, ad Astana, sarà firmato un accordo di cooperazione commerciale ed economica tra l’Unione economica eurasiatica (EAEU) con la Cina e un accordo provvisorio tra l’EAEU e l’Iran in una zona di libero scambio. L’EAEU comprende Russia, Bielorussia, Kazakistan, Armenia e Kirghizistan.
An agreement on trade and economic cooperation of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) with China and an interim agreement between the EAEU and Iran on a free trade zone are to be signed in Astana on May 17, Russian presidential aide Yury Ushakov told reporters. “Next week [May 17], after our meeting [of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council], there are plans to sign in Astana an agreement on trade and economic cooperation with China, and also sign an interim agreement leading to the formation of a free trade zone with Iran,” Ushakov said. The EAEU comprises Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Armenia and Kyrgyzstan.
