South Stream Transport BV, una consociata con sede ad Amsterdam della del gigante russo dell’energia Gazprom, ha firmato lunedì un contratto con la svizzera Allseas Group SA per la costruzione della seconda linea del tratto offshore del del gasdotto nel Mar Nero. Lo riferisce una nota di Gazprom, Gazprom ha detto. L’appalto è stato assegnato grazie a un’opzione prevista nel contratto siglato nel 2016 per la posa in opera della prima linea del gasdotto. Allseas impegnerà per la posa di più di 900 chilometri (circa 560 miglia) di tubazioni la più grande nave al mondo mai progettata.

South Stream Transport B.V., an Amsterdam-based subsidiary of Russia’s energy giant Gazprom, signed on Monday a contract with the Swiss-based Allseas Group S. A. on construction of the second line of the Turkish Stream gas pipeline’s offshore section in the Black Sea, Gazprom said. “The South Stream Transport B.V. company and the Allseas Group signed a contract in Amsterdam today on construction of the second line of the Turkish Stream gas pipeline’s offshore section,” Gazprom said in a statement. “The document was signed as an option stipulated in the contract on construction of the first line of the Turkish Stream offshore section, signed in 2016,” the statement said. According to the statement, Allseas will engage the world’s largest construction vessel, the Pioneering Spirit, to install over 900 kilometers (about 560 miles) of pipes on the seabed.
