Una delegazione del Consiglio della Federazione russa, la Camera alta del Parlamento, guidato dalla speaker Valentina Matvienko, si recherà in visita ufficiale in Vietnam il 20-22 febbraio. Lo ha detto ai giornalisti un portavoce del servizio stampa del Consiglio della Federazione. Matvienko terrà colloqui con alti funzionari vietnamiti, tra cui il presidente del paese dell’Assemblea nazionale Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan. Le parti discuteranno una vasta gamma di questioni bilaterali, con particolare riguardo alla cooperazione interparlamentare, ma anche di commercio bilaterale e cooperazione economica. Un accento particolare sarà posto sulla espansione dei legami tra regioni russe e province vietnamite.

A delegation of the upper house of Russia’s parliament, the Federation Council, headed by speaker Valentina Matvienko will pay an official visit to Vietnam on February 20-22, a spokesperson for the Federation Council press service told reporters. According to the press service, Matvienko is expected to hold talks with Vietnamese top officials including Chairman of country’s National Assembly Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan. The sides will discuss a wide range of bilateral issues with a special emphasis on the inter-parliamentary cooperation. The Russian and Vietnamese officials will also discuss the bilateral trade and economic cooperation as well as joint work in the spheres of education, science and tourism, according to the press service. A special emphasis will be put on expansion of ties between Russian regions and Vietnamese provinces.
