L’ambasciatore russo alle Nazioni Unite, Vitaly Churkin è morto oggi a New York. Lo si legge in una nota pubblicata sul sito del ministero degli Esteri di Mosca. Il ministero “annuncia con profondo dolore che della Russia permanente l’ambasciatore permanente presso le Nazioni Unite, Vitaly Churkin, è morto il 20 febbraio a New York, un giorno prima del suo 65mo compleanno”, si legge nella nota.

Russian Ambassador to the United Nations Vitaly Churkin died on Monday in New York, according to a statement posted on the Russian Foreign Ministry’s website. “The Russian Foreign Ministry announces with deep grief that Russia’s Permanent Ambassador to the UN, Vitaly Churkin, died on February 20 in New York a day before his 65th birthday,” the statement says.
