Un treno è deragliato sabato dopo la partenza dalla stazione ferroviaria nella città belga di Lovanio, nei pressi di Bruxelles. Lo ha reso noto la compagnia ferroviaria nazionale. “Un treno è deragliato dopo aver lasciato la stazione ferroviaria di Lovanio … Il traffico tra Lovanio e Bruxelles è stato interrotto” ha scritto l’autorità ferroviaria su Twitter. Una persona avrebbe perso la vita e 20 passeggeri sarebbero rimasti feriti. A bordo del treno c’erano centinaia di persone.

A train derailed Saturday after departing from the railway station in the Belgian city of Louvain near Brussels, the national railway company SNCB said. “A train has derailed after leaving the Louvain railway station…Traffic between Louvain and Brussels has been interrupted,” the railway authority tweeted. A local television channel, VTM, cited the Louvain Fire Department as saying one person had died. Around 20 more passengers were injured, La Derniere Heure newspaper reported. Photos from the site show that at least one carriage overturned. There were reportedly hundreds of people aboard the train.
