Il presidente Usa Donald Trump annuncerà di aver scelto Alexander Acosta come suo nuovo candidato alla segreteria del dipartimento del Lavoro. Lo riferiscono i media statunitensi. Trump farà l’annuncio nel corso di una conferenza stampa alla Casa Bianca. Acosta è un avvocato che attualmente lavora come preside della Florida International University College of Law. Ha fatto parte del National Labor Relations Board ed è stato sostituto procuratore generale per la divisione diritti civili presso il dipartimento di Giustizia sotto il presidente George W. Bush. Ha lavorato anche come procuratore degli Stati Uniti per il Distretto Sud della Florida.

President Donald Trump will announce that he has chosen Alexander Acosta as his new nominee for secretary of the US Department of Labor, US media reported on Thursday. Trump will make the announcement during a news conference at 12:30 p.m. (5:30 p.m. GMT) at the White House. Acosta is a lawyer who currently works as the Dean of Florida International University College of Law. Acosta served on the National Labor Relations Board and was Assistant Attorney General for the Civil Rights Division at the Justice Department under President George W. Bush. He also served as the US Attorney for the Southern District of Florida.
