Le Nazioni Unite sono favorevoli alla soluzione a due Stati del conflitto israelo-palestinese. Lo ha detto Sputnik Farhan Haq, vice portavoce del segretario generale dell’Onu. Martedì la Casa Bianca ha detto in una dichiarazione che gli Stati Uniti non insisteranno sulla attuazione della soluzione a due stati del conflitto poiché non avrebbe portato la pace nella regione, aggiungendo che se le parti rivali volevano invece una soluzione diversa, Washington li avrebbe aiutati. “Siete a conoscenza del nostro sostegno per la soluzione a due Stati. Oltre a questo, non vorrei aggiungere altro”, così Haq.

On Tuesday, the White House said in a statement that the United States will not insist on implementation of the two-state solution of the conflict that would not bring peace to the region, adding if the rival parties wanted something else, Washington would help them. “You’re aware of our support for the two state solution. Beyond that, I wouldn’t comment,” Haq said Tuesday, commenting the statement of the White House.
