E’ presto per valutare l’ipotesi che l’amministrazione statunitense di Donald Trump possa cooperare con la Russia contro il terrorismo globale. Ma è sicuramente una prospettiva promettente per la Siria e il mondo. Lo ha detto il presidente siriano Bashar Assad in un’intervista. “E’ ancora presto per vederne gli effetti pratici, ma riteniamo che la cooperazione tra gli Stati Uniti e la Russia positivo per il mondo, Siria compresa”.

US President Donald Trump’s intent to cooperate with Russia against global terrorism is too early to gauge in practice but is promising for Syria and the world, Syrian President Bashar Assad said in remarks published Tuesday. “I think this is promising, we have to wait, it’s still early to expect anything practical. It could be about the cooperation between the US and Russia, that we think is going to be positive for the rest of the world, including Syria,” Assad said in an interview to Belgian media published on the website of Syria’s SANA news service.
