La campagna per la solidarietà alla Palestina ha inscenato una protesta contro la visita nel Regno Unito del primo ministro israeliano Benjamin Netanyahu, il quale dovrà incontrare il suo omologo Theresa May. Anche altre organizzazioni, tra cui Amici di Al-Aqsa, Muslim Association of Britain, Forum Palestina in Gran Bretagna, Stop the War Coalition e War on Want hanno partecipato all’evento. I manifestanti hanno definito Netanyahu un criminale di guerra e hanno detto che la visita segna “50 anni da quando è iniziata l’occupazione illegale israeliana di Gaza, della Cisgiordania e di Gerusalemme Est”. Quasi 300 persone hanno confermato la loro presenza attraverso la pagina di protesta su Facebook.

Palestine Solidarity Campaign on Monday staged a protest against the visit of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to the United Kingdom to have talks with Prime Minister Theresa May. Other organizations including Friends of Al-Aqsa, Muslim Association of Britain, Palestinian Forum in Britain, Stop the War Coalition and War on Want will also participate in the event. The protesters are calling Netanyahu a war criminal and saying that the visit marks “50 years since Israel’s illegal occupation of Gaza, the West Bank and East Jerusalem.” Almost 300 people have confirmed their attendance through the protest Facebook page.
