Il ministro degli Esteri russo Sergey Lavrov ha detto al suo omologo francese Jean-Marc Ayrault che il deterioramento della situazione nel Donbas potrebbe vanificare gli sforzi del cosiddetto “Quartetto Normandia”. Lo ha dichiarato il ministero degli Esteri russo. “La conversazione ministeriale ha anche toccato il forte deterioramento della situazione in Donbas, che è stato provocato, come riportano i report della missione di vigilanza speciale dell’Osce, da militari dell’Ucraina”, dice la nota. “Questo potrebbe vanificare gli sforzi di due anni dei capi di stato del Quartetto Normandia”.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov told his French counterpart Jean-Marc Ayrault by phone on Friday that the deterioration of the situation in Donbas could nullify the efforts of the Normandy Four leaders, the Russian Foreign Ministry said in a comment following the talks. “The ministerial conversation also touched upon the sharp deterioration of the situation in Donbas, which was provoked, as follows, among other sources, from reports of the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission, by Ukraine’s military,” the statement said. “This could negate the two-year efforts of the heads of state of the Normandy Four. The ministers agreed to continue efforts to return the situation to the framework of observance of the ceasefire agreements,” it said.
