Le accuse del segretario alla Difesa britannico Michael Fallon che collegano la Russia agli attacchi informatici sono infondati e non caratteristici di un funzionario della sua statura. Lo ha detto il portavoce del Cremlino Dmitry Peskov. “Siamo molto dispiaciuti per l’ostilità del ministro Fallon. Siamo convinti che queste accuse da parte sua siano infondate, non capiamo come il ministro – che occupa un posto alto – possa lavorare con queste accuse prive di fondamento”, ha detto Peskov ai giornalisti . Fallon, in un discorso alla St. Andrews University ieri aveva collegato alla Russia una serie di attacchi informatici in Europa e negli Stati Uniti. “Ci auguriamo che nel corso del tempo il Regno Unito, in qualche modo, torni a un approccio costruttivo in linea con le necessità di normalizzare le relazioni tra i nostri due Paesi”, ha sottolineato Peskov.

We are convinced that these charges on his part are unfounded, we do not understand how the minister – occupying such a high post – can operate with these unfounded allegations that are unsubstantiated,” Peskov told reporters. Fallon, in a speech at St. Andrews University on Thursday, linked Russia to a series of cyberattacks in Europe and the United States dating back to 2015. “We hope that over time the United Kingdom will in some way, after all, return to a constructive approach in line with what will proceed from the need to normalize relations between our two countries,” Peskov stressed.
